The Video Language Learner (VLL) is a Google Chrome extension (Manifest V3) developed to help Mandarin learners acquire the language while watching videos on YouTube.
Initially designed for Portuguese (BR) speakers to learn Chinese (Mandarin), but could be adapted for other languages in the future.
The extension enhances the viewing experience by providing interactive and customizable captions that facilitate understanding and retention of new vocabulary.
